THE BRIEF
The business had moved on.
The website needed to catch up.
The Travelling Hands needed their presentation to match the market they were already working in.
Their existing website no longer reflected the direction of the business. When pitching for prestigious events, the band needed a website and supporting materials that communicated the quality of their performances and their place in the luxury market.
The brief went beyond a redesign. The website, pitch decks, presentations, client guides and social content all needed to feel part of the same brand.
The band's clients and venues include
- Tatler
- The Savoy
- Rosewood Hotels
- Harper's Bazaar
- Condé Nast
THE WEBSITE
Show the experience.
Make the options clear.
Performance imagery and video put the band at the centre of the website. Separate pages for weddings, parties and corporate events give each audience information that relates to their occasion.
For event planners and companies
A dedicated page presents the corporate experience, with performance options, relevant feedback and a route to the brochure.
For couples planning their celebration
The wedding page helps couples picture the band at their event, understand the packages and find answers to practical questions.
BEYOND THE WEBSITE
One recognisable brand.
Across every conversation.
The work needed to carry through from a first impression online to a proposal in a client's inbox.
I put together new brand guidelines and reusable templates to give the team a consistent foundation for its communications. This extended to pitch decks, presentations, social media content and other supporting materials.
The aim was to make the band feel like the same business wherever a prospective client encountered them, while giving the team a practical set of materials to work with.
- Brand guidelines
- A shared reference for presenting the business consistently.
- Pitch decks & presentations
- Branded materials to support proposals and conversations with clients.
- Social media templates
- Reusable layouts for content that belongs to the same visual identity.
- Online client guides
- Branded information to support clients and companies as they plan.
SUPPORTING THE SALES PROCESS
A clear next step
for interested clients.
Focused pages give prospects more detail before they enquire.
The project also included sales funnel pages and online guides. The corporate brochure page is one example: it introduces the offer, explains the experience, presents relevant feedback and invites visitors to request the brochure.
It gives the band a destination to share with a specific audience, alongside the main website.

THE FINISHED WORK
A consistent presentation.
From first visit to proposal.
The project brought the website, brand guidelines and supporting materials into line with the band's position in the luxury events market. The team has a consistent set of materials to use when presenting the business, sharing information and pitching for work.
