Will my website look like someone else’s?
The core layouts are reused, but your colours, typography, imagery, content and page selection make it specific to your business. It is a customised framework, rather than an exclusive design. If you need a completely original layout, custom design is the better option.
Do I have to write all the content?
You supply accurate information about your business, services and customers. I organise and edit that material for clarity. Writing all five pages from scratch, a new brand identity and photography are separate services, quoted before we start.
When does the build timeline start?
Once we have agreed the scope, received the initial payment and have your required content. The target assumes prompt feedback. Missing content, extra features or delayed approvals can extend the schedule.
Who owns the website?
You retain ownership of the content and branding you supply. Your quote will explain the rights to the completed site, when handover takes place and any platform or stock-image licence restrictions. The reusable design framework is not exclusive to your business.
What happens after the 12-month plan?
The initial payments total £1,703 including the £395 setup fee and hosting. After 12 months, your payment drops to £29/month for hosting. You can update your content yourself; changes made by me are quoted separately.
Can I cancel the monthly option early?
The monthly option has a 12-month minimum commitment. It is not a cancel-anytime subscription. Your written agreement will explain early cancellation, outstanding build costs and handover before you sign up.
Are hosting, my domain and email included?
Hosting is £29/month with the one-off option. It is included in the £109/month package during the initial 12-month term, then continues at £29/month. Domain registration or renewals, email and third-party subscriptions are quoted separately. I will check your current setup before recommending changes.
Does basic SEO mean I will rank on Google?
No ranking or enquiry level is guaranteed. Basic SEO includes page titles, descriptions, alt text, sensible structure and sitemap setup. Ongoing SEO, new content and promotion are separate work. The website also needs relevant visitors to generate enquiries.
Can you use my existing website content?
Yes. We can reuse the content and images you own that still work, then improve how they are organised and presented. We will also review your current page addresses and domain setup before launch.
What if I need more pages or a booking system?
Tell me at the start. Extra pages, booking tools, payments and e-commerce can change the scope and cost. I will quote them separately or recommend a custom build if that is a better fit.
