BEFORE / THE CHALLENGE
A website the team had outgrown.
- A content system that was difficult to maintain and update.
- Training services that needed a clearer structure and explanation.
- Too much reliance on previous suppliers for everyday changes.

A better website for the gym.
Less hassle for the team.

Bond Fitness had outgrown a three-year-old website that was difficult to keep up to date.
The team struggled with its outdated content management system and relied heavily on the previous designers and developers for changes. Keeping the site current took too much time and coordination.
Henry wanted a complete overhaul, clearer explanations of the gym's services and someone to look after the website after launch. The existing logo and colours would stay, but the experience needed to feel like the business Bond Fitness had become.
WHAT NEEDED TO CHANGE
The brief went beyond how the website looked. It needed to explain the training options, show the community and take day-to-day website worries off the team's hands.
BEFORE / THE CHALLENGE
AFTER / THE REBUILD
PUTTING MEMBERS FIRST
Bond Fitness wanted visitors to see the welcoming community behind the training. Real photography, written feedback and video testimonials give members a much more prominent place across the website.
A dedicated members page brings together their stories and video testimonials, helping prospective clients understand the people and atmosphere behind the gym.
Explore the members page
Photography of the real members and team makes the website feel like Bond Fitness. It shows the welcoming environment in a way that generic gym imagery couldn't.
CLEARER SERVICES & COPY
Visitors needed to understand the difference between one-to-one training, small groups and larger group sessions.
I helped refine the copy and reorganise the services into clear sections and dedicated pages. Each explains the type of training, what to expect and who it is for.
The design uses the gym's existing logo and colours within a cleaner layout, with more room for the photography and a consistent structure across the service pages.
A CLEAR NEXT STEP
The Free Kickstart Intro gives new visitors an easy way to take the first step.
It was a priority in the brief, so the website gives it a prominent place in the main navigation and at relevant points throughout the homepage. Visitors can learn about the gym, hear from its members and move straight to the intro sign-up.
Service pages also give people a clear route to discuss the training that interests them.

The project didn't end at launch. Bond Fitness wanted one person to turn to for the website, with hosting and ongoing management taken care of.
MORE OF THE WEBSITE

A dedicated service page, with a clear introduction and real coaching photography.

A section further down the homepage puts members and the gym’s atmosphere first.

A consistent layout for a different training option.

The homepage brings the three core training options together.
THE FINISHED WORK
Bond Fitness now has a website that reflects its community, explains its training and makes the next step clear.
Henry was delighted with the finished website. The team continues to use Max Web Design for hosting and ongoing management, with one place to go for support and changes.
They can concentrate on their members while I look after the website.
“Max is super professional, took all my notes and created a fantastic, streamlined website for my company. Highly recommended.”
